WPPI 2009 was a success! Thanks to everyone!

February 22, 2009 – 12:47 pm

Wppi this year had to be one of the best ever! Lots of great programs, speakers, meeting lots of new friends and the trade show was especially large with lots to choose from. My presentation was one of the first to start off this years regular platform programs. The room we were given was to hold 250 people. No one knew we would end up with an estimated 600-700 plus attendants waiting to get in. Wow, that was great! Thank you all who were able to be there to support me and of course sorry to the ones that did not make it in. I’m hoping next year we will be asked back and I’m sure the room size will be a bit bigger. Special thanks also to Fotoworkspro who does our album printing and both NIK Filters and Kubota Imaging for giving out lots of cools prizes. Not to forget LUMA VUE Framers for there impressive back lit diplays. Those who attended were really impressed with the new framing product.

Frank Salas makes WPPI Dream Team

February 10, 2009 – 3:19 pm

I am very fortunate to be selected for a platform program and being selected as “The Dream Team” of speakers for the 2009 WPPI Convention. Each year it’s alway a great experience to be among so many great photographers. The ability to network and share ideas is priceless!

“The 2009 lineup of WPPI Platform speakers is guite possibly the finest collection of the most successful professional photographers in the industry-not to mention the most sought after on the speaking circuit”. From WPPI, Rangefinder magazine 2009.
